Sheriff’s office to increase patrols
The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office is increasing patrols starting Monday, Dec. 2, in an effort to fight property crimes during the holiday season.
Dubbed Operation St. Nick, the increased patrols in rural areas will last until Dec. 31, according to a Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office release.
Residents are asked to be on the lookout for suspicious activity and report it to the sheriff’s office non-emergency number at 775-1480, or in the event of an actual emergency, dial 911.
