The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office started increasing patrols Monday as part of Operation St. Nick, its annual program to deter thefts and other crimes. County residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity. The combination of increased patrols and alert citizens will help protect rural parts of the county. Operation St. Nick is an important holiday tradition.
