The Junior Skills Demonstration Team of Lubbock-Cooper Independent School District won the Area I FFA competition at West Texas A&M University and will advance to the state competition in Huntsville Dec. 5-7.
Team members are Carter Barnhill, Holden Heinrich, Kenley Frazier and Colton Bourquin.
Addison Kostelich took third place at the area contest Nov. 23 in junior creed, and Courtney Adams, Jase Jones, Ashley Hamilton and Aubrey Waggoner also took third in their category of senior skills demonstration.
