Lubbock Christian University basketball teams haven’t played in almost three weeks. They’d better regain their form right away, because the first week back from the holidays might be one of the toughest of the season.
LCU hosts Heartland Conference doubleheaders today against St. Mary’s — women at 5:30 p.m. and men at 7:30 —and Saturday against Texas A&M International with each of the visiting teams off to strong starts.
The Lady Chaparrals (9-1), St. Mary’s (10-1) and Texas A&M International (9-2) are tied atop the Heartland women’s standings with 5-0 records.
