The Salvation Army of Lubbock is offering its shelter as a warming station for the South Plains area.
Volunteers will provide warm clothing to residents unprepared for the cold.
The shelter’s main dining room is open to anyone and volunteers will service warm drinks and food, according to Salvation Army news release.
The charity provided shelter to 14 people Sunday night, according to the release.
