Quick Opinion: Study indicates using a cellphone while driving may be more dangerous than was previously thought

Researchers at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute installed sophisticated equipment in the cars of 42 teen drivers and found the risk of a crash or near miss was seven times higher when talking on a cellphone and four times when texting. The study indicates talking on the phone while driving may be a more dangerous risk than was previously believed.
