A Lubbock Independent School District school bus ran through a yard, eventually crashing into a parked car near Coronado High School at around 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7.
According to Nancy Sharp, spokesperson for LISD, neither the six students on board the bus or the bus driver were injured, and the damage to the bus and the car was minor.
Sharp said the bus driver blacked out while driving. He was cleared by the Department of Transportation in December, but will no longer have any driving responsibilities.
