Kudos to the Texas Department of Public Safety for making driver’s license renewals more user-friendly. Texas residents can go online to reserve a place in line, and people who need to renew driver’s licenses can do it online if the license isn’t 12 years old or more. The total amount of citizen time saved in a year by the new policy should be significant.
