The National Institutes of Health has renewed its $1.1 million grant for the Plains Bridges to the Baccalaureate program between Texas Tech and South Plains College.
The five-year grant helps minority students studying science at SPC successfully transfer to Tech.
“The Plains Bridges to the Baccalaureate Program is essentially the same but will continue to impact the lives of underrepresented minority students at the community college level,” said Jaclyn Canas-Carrell, director of the program.
