The Lubbock chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist program has announced the first training dates for 2014.
Introduction to Master Naturalists will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 16, at Lubbock Lake Landmark. Current members, as well as friends of the program, are welcome to attend.
Another meeting will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18.
The program is a partnership between the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Texas Parks and Wildlife dedicated to training individuals to enhance and preserve the local habitat.
