Rebuilding a central part of 34th Street and raising the median on a stretch of Avenue Q will be among transportation improvement items on the city’s to-do list in coming years.
Lubbock Metropolitan Planning Organization’s transportation policy committee approved the 2015-18 Transportation Improvement Program Tuesday morning, March 18. The eight items on the project list are:
■ Continuing to rebuild 34th Street, this time with focus on the stretch of the road between Quaker and Indiana avenues;
