Free diabetes classes offered for uninsured
Covenant Community Outreach will host a four-week series of free diabetes educational classes for people who are uninsured or financially in need.
The class will meet Aug. 1 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Lubbock Diagnostic Clinic.
People who attend at least three of the four classes will receive a free glucometer and a voucher to buy 50 glucometer strips for $5 or 100 for $10.
