AMARILLO
A Texas Panhandle federal jury deliberated another day without reaching a verdict on whether the American Quarter Horse Association wrongly bars cloned animals.
Jurors reported themselves deadlocked on a verdict Monday in Amarillo, but a federal judge ordered them to continue deliberations. They’ll resume deliberations today. Deliberations began late Friday.
Two quarter horse breeders in 2012 sued the Amarillo-based AQHA, raising antitrust issues and challenging a ban on clone registration.
