Tech golf season
comes to an end
RALEIGH, N.C. — Texas Tech failed to make the cut for next week’s NCAA Championships on Saturday at the Raleigh regional men’s golf tournament.
The Red Raiders finished sixth at 12-over 864.
Texas Tech was able to make up some ground on a nine-stroke deficit it faced heading into the final round. Tech shot a 4-over, 288 over the final 18 holes, which was the fourth best round of the day and allowed the Red Raiders to pull within two strokes of Florida State late in the round.
