Rep. John Frullo won’t be replacing Robert Duncan the state senate, he told the Avalanche-Journal editorial board Wednesday.
The three-year House of Representatives veteran is running for re-election to his District 84 seat and likes what he does, he said. He was recently appointed by Speaker Joe Strauss to tackle Texas’ child abuse problem on the Select Committee on Child Protection.
When asked what he thinks of Rep. Charles Perry’s decision to run for senate, Frullo said his colleague would make a fine senator. He does not plan to endorse any candidates.
