Frenship advanced to the Division I State 7-on-7 Tournament being held at College Station on July 11 and 12 when it defeated Coronado, 39-24, in the semifinal at its host tournament Friday.
The Tigers hosted a state-qualifying tournament, which consisted of four pools with three teams facing off against other teams within their pool and the winner advancing to one of two semifinal games.
